This arrangement grew from our long-standing work with a UK manufacturer. Alongside components supplied through us, we receive goods from its other Chinese suppliers and coordinate consolidation for shipment.
The potential benefit is a more manageable shipping process and better use of a consolidated load. Whether it reduces cost depends on domestic transport, handling, storage, freight and the timing of arrivals.

Who declares the goods for customs?
In our customer-nominated supplier consolidation arrangement, each supplier remains responsible for the customs declaration of its own goods. We coordinate the agreed shipment activities around that arrangement.
Are products inspected when they arrive?
Warehouse receiving covers the checks agreed for packages, quantities and visible condition. Technical product inspection and acceptance require a separate scope.
What happens if one supplier is late?
We communicate the effect on the planned load and discuss options such as waiting or splitting the shipment. Storage, handling and freight implications are agreed before changes are made.
What information should we send first?
Supplier locations, expected ready dates, package counts, dimensions, weights, destination and any special handling requirements. Tell us whether repacking or product inspection is required.
Practical questions before you start
Can you consolidate goods from several Chinese suppliers?
Yes. Our own warehouse can receive goods from your Chinese suppliers for agreed package-quantity and visible-condition checks, secondary packing and coordinated container loading. We agree arrival dates, storage, packaging and dispatch requirements before receiving the goods.
Who handles customs declarations for customer-nominated suppliers?
In our consolidation arrangement for customer-nominated suppliers, each supplier handles the export customs declaration for its own goods. Hongdu coordinates the agreed receiving, packing and shipment activities. Consolidating goods does not automatically transfer product or customs responsibilities to Hongdu.
