First, find the right supplier.
Simon worked with Mr Zhao to identify a suitable supplier for the customer’s component requirements and coordinate delivery. Mr Zhao continues to work with him today.
Since 2008, Simon has supported a UK manufacturer with component supply and practical coordination in China. This continuing relationship is the foundation of the supply model we offer today.
The start of a continuing relationship with a UK manufacturer.
A new component. A trusted contact.
A first order that became a continuing relationship.
The relationship has developed through repeat orders, direct communication and following through when practical problems arise.
Component supply and warehouse consolidation give the customer a familiar point of contact for the work agreed with Hongdu.

The customer provides drawings and requirements. We coordinate supplier matching and quotation, followed by manufacture, inspection, receiving, packing and export arrangements within the order scope.
The work grew to include receiving goods from the customer’s other Chinese suppliers at our warehouse and bringing them together for container loading and shipment.
When issues arise, we stay involved: understanding the customer’s needs, coordinating a response and following the work through. That continuing involvement is central to the relationship.
This is the established working arrangement behind our services, rather than a claim about a single measured project.
The customer sends component drawings and requirements. It also purchases goods from other Chinese suppliers, creating several China-side handovers to organise.
For our supply orders, we coordinate supplier matching, quotation, manufacture, inspection, packing and export. Our warehouse also receives other nominated suppliers’ goods for consolidated loading and shipment.
The customer can bring goods together for shipment instead of managing each departure separately. In this relationship, consolidation has helped reduce freight costs and simplify China-side export logistics management.
Each nominated supplier remains responsible for the customs declaration for its own goods. Savings on another shipment depend on its actual costs and arrival schedule; receiving alone does not constitute technical acceptance.
CEO
UK manufacturing company
“When we first began working with Simon in 2008, it was very much a case of ‘let’s give it a try’. Nearly two decades on, all we need to do is send him our drawings. Simon consistently delivers products that meet our standards, at a fair price and within the agreed timeframe.
Manufacturing issues do occasionally arise, of course, but what has always set Simon apart is the way he responds. He looks at the situation from our perspective and acts quickly to find the right solution, without becoming preoccupied with who is at fault or who might bear the cost. That sense of responsibility and commitment is why our relationship has endured for so many years.”
A customer reference may be arranged privately for prospective clients, subject to mutual agreement.
Discuss a customer reference with us ↗Supplier questions, production progress and delivery arrangements can be brought through a familiar contact. For goods from other suppliers, warehouse consolidation also helps organise the China-side shipment work.
The same stages can be offered individually. You might begin with finding a supplier, an audit by Mr Zhou or inspection of an existing order, and add support as the relationship develops.
