My industrial career began in Shanghai in 2003, working with welding equipment and automated welding systems. A mechanical engineering background helped me understand both the technical questions and the people responsible for making the equipment work.
Years of cooperation with a UK manufacturer encouraged me to develop this work with more overseas manufacturers. Hongdu Advisory brings that experience together with additional procurement and technical capability.

2008 / The first component order
Simon begins supporting a UK manufacturer with drawing-based component supply, working with Mr Zhao on supplier matching and delivery. The cooperation continues today.
2010 / Establishing the company
Shanghai Hongdu Welding and Cutting Products Co., Ltd. is established. ESAB welding products distribution forms part of its domestic industrial business.
